Privacy policy

LeoCore Backup is desktop software that runs on your own computers. This policy explains the small amount of data that reaches us, and the large amount that does not.
Your databases never reach us
Backups are written to destinations that you configure — your disk, your file share, your cloud storage account. Database contents, backup archives, connection strings, database credentials and encryption passwords are never transmitted to Souq E Kamil Trading and Solutions WLL, and we have no technical means of retrieving them.
Database credentials are sealed on the machine that uses them with Windows DPAPI, bound to that machine, and are not readable on any other computer.
No telemetry
The application contains no analytics, no usage tracking, no crash reporting service and no advertising identifiers. It does not require an account to back up or to restore.
What we do collect
- Purchases. Handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, name or company name, country, and the amount paid — not your card number.
- Licence records. If you buy a licence we store your licence key, your email address, your licence holder name, and, for each machine you activate, a one-way hash of a hardware fingerprint plus any server label you choose to type. The fingerprint cannot be reversed and does not contain your hostname, IP address or user name.
- Support email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.
- Website logs. Cloudflare processes standard request logs for this site to deliver it and to block abuse.
Optional network calls made by the application
- Activation — once per machine, when you enter a licence key. Sends the key and the hashed fingerprint. Offline activation avoids this entirely.
- Licence heartbeat — occasional, paid editions only, so your seat list stays accurate. If it fails, nothing happens: your backups continue and the software keeps working.
- Update check — retrieves the current version number. Sends no identifiers and can be turned off in Settings.
The free Solo edition makes none of these calls.
Retention
Licence and order records are kept for as long as the licence is valid and for seven years afterwards, as required for tax and accounting purposes in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Support email is kept for three years.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting a licence record ends the licence, so we will confirm before acting. Write to support@seksolution.com.
